Assistants

The assistants on our list are not hired through PPR, they are independent freelance assistants. PPR can not account for their experience or level of knowledge. Their listing on our site is by recommendation of photographers who have employed them in the past. To help narrow down the choices, we have attempted to categorize them; Digital Technician, Lead Assistant, Working Assistant, and Emerging Assistant.

Digital Technicians

Digital Technicians possess a good working knowledge of photography and equipment, including medium format cameras, studio strobe lighting, meters, and Mac OS X. They are capable of operating and trouble shooting digital backs, managing workflow and file processing.

At PPR, we strive to provide excellent technical support to our customers. We are available to assist during normal store hours of 8:30 to 5:30 Monday thru Friday, and 9:00 to 5:00 on Saturday. In the event you need assistance outside of those hours, you can obtain technical support from the manufacturers web sites in many cases. Each manufacturer usually offers both a Frequently Asked Questions section (FAQ), and an area where you can download current drivers and software for the equipment in question.
